Breaking News: KOJ Respond to their former members Investigation

maxresdefault copyFirst, Allow me to state that the investigation of these two Kalway Jedi, do not reflect the views of the Kalway Order of Jedi Council.

Secondly, I will also state that while the investigation seemed to have had merit and we appreciate the concern shown by our now former members, allow me to explain the following by form of text attachment. Attached is the full text of the Nar Shaddaa Accords as negotiated by Master Zen Wormser roughly one half standard year before Master Jayden was a Master.

This agreement has been the bulwark of everything the KOJ has done concerning the Hutt Cartels since it’s inception and acceptance by both the Hutt Council and the Jedi Council of Yavin IV. Our actions do NOT interfere in the Hutt culture nor do we have any influence with them.. we can advise and that has been all that has ever been done. It should be noted that it was advised to the Bareesh Clan by Kalway Jedi not to allow bounties to be placed upon officials from the New Republic. This was not followed as is perfectly right as based upon our interpretation of the Jedi Code… We can not interfere in the normal happenings or operations of Hutt Culture nor would we wish to. Our definition of justice is not the same as any other race or group.. this is the same as Hutts.

As for the Hutt involvement with the GFFR, the Hutts had no say in the operations of the GFFR except as an advisory role… This is well known and the fact that the Chiss Ascendency is allied to the Hutts of Nar Shaddaa and Mos Espa has in no way affected their judgment in the proceedings of the GFFR Senate.

I must state that the investigation conducted by these colleagues, did not in any way utilize the resources available to most Jedi of the Order and not only that the key parties involved were not spoken to nor were they given any chance to respond..

The Nar Shaddaa Accords Proposal (final)

RESPONSIBILITIES OF A JEDI OPERATING IN HUTT SPACE

That being said, I wish these Jedi well in their search.. but can not concur with their findings.

The Results of Master Raven and Jaydan’s investigation

Raven and Jayden_001GNW was contacted by Master Raven and Jayden. We were told to meet them on the Forest Moon of Endor. We met them on the station of the planet. Master Raven and Jayden had told us that they were conduction an investigation.

Master Raven and Master Jayden have been away from Yavin IV for some time now and had recently come back to the moon. They told me when coming back they noticed a lot of interesting stories that concerned them. An alliance between the Hutts, the Federation and KOJ, They weren’t sure what to make of it and they decided the only way they could have a peace of mind was to do an investigation.

Now the events of their investigation had long past and may or may not have been amended. What they gather from the Hutts was that they found that they were still involved with their criminal lifestyle, of course, its masked to appear legit. Their most concerning thing for them was when they arrived back and there was the turmoil between the Hutts and the Galactic Republic. They learned that there were two bounties on the Supreme Chancellor. One by someone from an unknown affiliation and another by Prilla the Hutt. They go on to say that they know the issue is now resolved but it wasn’t just that part that concerned them. It was the fact that in the Galactic Federation the Hutts had a voice in the Senate via the Chiss Ascendancy’s Aristocra now Senator Tes Fett. Though the Hutts never had a vote some Hutts were able to observe the Senate even doing a little business there.

They said it didn’t appear that the Hutts influenced any laws or amendments in the Galactic Federation. To their findings, the Federation is more guilty by association since the Hutts are not a law-abiding organization. Master Raven goes on to say that “Chiss Senator is the one who brought them into the Federation. Another concerning fact is that the Kalway Order of Jedi in which they belong to had some influence in having the Hutts in the Federation as well. Their alliance with the Hutts go deeper than the Federation.”

Master Jayden follow up by saying “As everyone knows the Hutt’s do nothing unless there is something in it for them. Even though they did NOT have a direct vote their influence is felt throughout the dealings that the Galactic Federation has held. The fact is that they had a voice and they were listened to. It is well known that is more than enough to influence votes into an arrangement that will be assured to benefit them. Since the earliest days when we were still just padawans, the KOJ were courting the Hutts not the other way around. Back then was a different time and alliances were not on the table. Now is a different story where they have a pact between the Hutts leading to an Embassy on Nar Shaddaa and a plaque for all to say stating their friendship with the Hutts. saying friendship. Events are also hosted with the Hutts.” He continues by saying that “This is a problem in that KOJ are supposed to stand for justice and keep peace in the galaxy. Yet the Jedi were nowhere to be heard when a democratic government such as the Galactic Republic were in danger from the very Hutts that they befriended. This makes it appear as though they turned a blind eye to keep their alliance intact.”

Master Raven clarifies her first statement about the Hutts Influencing the laws and amendments made by the GFFR she said, “When I meant they had no influence on amendments and laws, it was more they didn’t come up with new structures to change those laws but they do have an influence with having a voice there to agree or disagree on things.”
At the end of their investigation, they have come to the resolve of leaving KOJ. Master Raven said, “The Chiss Ascendancy has cut ties with the Hutts so they are no longer giving the Hutts a voice in the Senate.” she then sighs heavily “For the KOJ they are still in an alliance with the Hutts and have no plans to change it for there is a mutual agreement between them. That said it leaves us no other choice but to leave KOJ. We have fond memories there and have many friends who we cherish deeply. This is a conflict of interest for us and we can not go where they are going. We will always be allies to them when in need. This isn’t an easy decision but as Jedi, we serve the Force and those in need. We can’t stay where we feel it’s pulling us in the wrong direction.” Master Jayden nod in agreement and said, “What it reveals is a conflict of interest from these findings. It goes against everything that we were taught as padawans and that we believe that the Jedi stand for. We cannot in good conscience remain in an order where the direction seems to be moving away from the side of the light. We have many fond memories and friendships and as Raven has said we will always come to the aid of the order and those in it. This is not an easy decision and we have meditated on this long and hard and feel that the Force has led us to this decision.”

There is always two side to a story so GNW will learn the other side of this story and keep you posted.

GFFR’s Two Candidate for Chair.

It is a good sign for the GFFR to have two candidates running for the position of the office of Chair. Not since Queen Jacinda of New Alderaan and former Chairman Marcel Dowding has there been a two-person race. Tiplaria ran her four terms unchallenged by anyone to take her position. GNW got the opportunity to speak with both of the GFFR candidates.

Lorekat, Fates Hand Entertainment (123, 150, 1001) -If Senator Tes wins would you be her Vice Chair?

Senator Nyx: If she wishes me to be her Vice Chair I would happily take it. Just as if I had won I would ask her to be Vice Chair. Tes and I both see things need to change.

What kind of changes?

Senator Nyx: One of the rules for the way people are spoken to during interviews. There really really needs to be a protocol, A checklist of sorts to work through. As it seems very dis configured with the way things are run. The way that people speak in the meetings. It should not be open floor until A full check is done for each and every member of the Senate, Going down the line. Then moving to open a business where people can ask for aid, Changes and things to be called on to be voted on. The way the rules are for those who join if they do not have a standing in the galaxy? What if they have proof of standing? And their main place is outside the galaxy but they still have a good standing. That needs to be changed. Weapons and soldiers in the Senate need to be dropped.. guards should wait outside the doors, while weapons are checked with them.

Why do you wish to run for Chair Senator Tes?”

Senator Tes: “Hello, I would like to run in hopes that I may continue on the work that Madam Chair has done so far and lead by her example totes_001 strengthen and grow the Federation’s relations with it’s members and forge new alliances.”

If you didn’t win, would you be willing to be Senator Nyx Vice Chair?”

Senator Tes: “Absolutely. In my time speaking with her I’ve learned that she is a strong leader for her people. Her statements in the last meeting all had merit. She would be a unique leader to say the least but I have no doubt she would be a good Chairwoman.”

In your earlier statement, you said you want to strengthen and grow the federation’s relations with it’s members and forge new Alliances. How are you planning to do that and do you have anyone you wish to align with once you become The chair?”

Senator Tes: “During the last Senate meeting Nyx brought up an important matter about bringing stronger internal civility within the Senate. It’s no secret that Ani has certain takes on Non-Chiss, but her exchanges with Nyx have been the most frequent. I would ask Nyx to be my Vice Chair is she wished and work with her to accomplish that goal of hers as well as the others. I would also attempt to reestablish relations and membership with Dantooine and Tython within the Federation, as well as other worlds. With the Senate’s approval, I would try to see about reopening diplomatic channels with the New Republic as well for starters. There was one other thing I had considered, with the support of the Senate I would like to open a citizen membership for the people of the galaxy so that they may become members of the Federation and attend meetings to let us know what the common people of the galaxy have to say.”

Madam Chair Tiplaria terms as Chair of the GFFR will be ending next Month

Madam Chair Tiplaria 1_001 GNW learned that next month will be Madam Chair Tiplaria last term of office of Chair. She will not be able to run another term as Chair of the Galatic Federation of the Free Republic.  GNW traveled to Yavin IV to have an interview with the Madam Chair and here is what she had to say.

Is next month your last term of office?

Madam Chair Tiplaria 4_001Madam Chair Tiplaria:  Greetings GNW and to all your viewers.  I suppose your viewers would like to know if it is true that next month will be my last month as Chair of the GFFR.  This indeed is the truth unless the Senate votes to allow me to have another term of office but if that is not the case,  The Senate will be starting election next month. The new Chair will start in January and I plan to support whoever that may be.  Any citizen of the GFFR who wishes to run may run as a candidate.

Do you have any regrets?

Madam Chair Tiplaria: My time as Chairwoman had its ups and its down but overall I wouldn’t change a thing.  One of the sad point as Chair was losing Tython.  I felt like I lost her on my watch but losing her put me in the state where I felt that GFFR needed to grow and add more members and we have done that.  GFFR is in good shape for whoever may take over when I step down.  There are some things  I left undone but hopefully, the new Chair can fix what I couldn’t do.  There were so many of our force sensitive citizen we couldn’t heal because the Hutt wanted too much for a crystal we needed.

What are your future plans?

Madam ChMadam Chair Tiplaria 8_001air Tiplaria: I am excited about the future of the GFFR and where it is going and I plan to go back to working in the Senate as Yavin IV senator if she would have me. There are a lot of talks in the Senate about where the GFFR is heading.  I will not tell you what they are.  All your viewers will just have to wait and see what we plan to do in the coming years.  I can tell you that you may be amazed.  There is no Government in my view that comes close to the GFFR and that is saying a lot.

A prisoner divide In the GFFR?

maxresdefault copyBreaking News:

Gryff McCallen is a prisoner I am told that was transferred from Mos Eisley into GFFR Custody.  He was captured by Soron Skirata of Clan Skirata. Our sources, tell us that there were terrorist attacks on Mos Eisley and Fel Empire put a bounty on him.

Gryff McCallen is a well-known Merchant who would visit Yavin IV from time to time selling fruits and vegetables. He is also the former leader of the Star Wind Clan.

At this moment, he is being held in one of the cells on Yavin IV. KOJ Grandmaster Iria has no plans of turning him over to anyone, not even to the Federation until they get more answers of why a bounty has been placed on Gryff McCallen.

Will this issue of one prisoner divide certain members of the GFFR? Can Yavin IV and the Fel Empire come to some type of agreement?  Only time will tell.  GNW will keep you update as soon as we learn more.
